Another year of FREE MacWorld Premium Passes

From the fool me once department … The infamous Kurt Grutzmacher was at it again this year with the MacWorld Premium Pass hack. I know many of you are Mac FanBoys (I’m coming around) and know the prospect of a free MacWorld pass is likely to make you droll. In a similar fashion to last year’s hack Kurt discovered that MD5 hashed registration codes where contained in the “check_password()” javascript function. Using a common password cracking tool John the Ripper and some ingenuity Kurt was able to obtain the promo code “08-S-STAFF” giving the purchaser a 100% discount! Thanks Apple! …
