We’re going to try to start a little early this week for CapSec, so that some of the folks who get off gov jobs early can come by without having to spend all evening in the city.
We’re going to start at 5 PM on the back deck, and we may migrate upstairs later, depending on how the evening is going.

Completely off the normal topic of the blog but NASA is going to (try to) launch a satellite from their Wallops Island Flight Facility in Virginia between 2000 and 23oo hrs Tuesday 5/5/09. The rocket that they intend to launch is a Minotaur I and is known for it’s brilliant rocket fire. It’s expected that the rocket could be visible from up to 800 miles away. You can follow the status of the launch on the Wallops Island twitter account. Here’s a Google Map link, it’s about 3.5 hrs from DC. Just too cool not to share.
